♥ Here are my updated plans for the year:
Convention Plans
Setsucon
I'm definitely going. Though I'm still not sure as what. I'll probably end up choosing between Switzerland from Hetalia, Alois from Kuroshitsuji II, or possibly Princess Serenity (depending on the weather and how I feel). I think I'll end up deciding this weekend.
Katsucon
It was still just a possibility when I posted my last journal, but we went ahead and booked our hotel and pre-regged back in November and finally got our transportation plans worked out so ~Mizukei and I are 100% for sure going to Katsucon. We are incredibly excited! You can expect to see us there as the anime versions of Tuxedo Mask and Princess Serenity with our very good friend as Small Lady, all from Sailor Moon. And we will also be going as Howl and Sophie from the Studio Ghibli Howl's Moving Castle film.
Otakon
I really want to go, but the only thing I'm worried about is having enough money after Katsu.
We're gonna do whatever we can to make this work though.
Cosplay
Sophie: I've been spending the past few weekends working on my Sophie cosplay and it's almost done! You can expect to see pictures after I debut it at Katsucon next month.
Sailor Neptune: My goal is to have this done for Otakon. So hopefully all goes as planned.
San: This is one of the next ones I'd definitely like to work on, it just depends on how much time and money I'll have available.
Norway/fem!Norway: I still really want to do one or both of these version of Norway when I have the money.
Personal Life
It's cold as balls up north right now. It hailed and snowed last night (so much so that we actually had a delay this morning, which apparently almost never happens here).
I'm just trying to get through the spring semester now and I'm looking forward to hopefully doing some student teaching in May. My personal life has mostly just been revolving around school so Katsucon is going to be a very welcomed vacation for me.
