Wow, my last journal was at the start of my senior year. A whole lot has happened since then. I survived my last year, which had me busier and more stressed than I think I have ever been before in my life. I graduated and got my degree in education along with my teaching certification. Unfortunately, I was not able to go to Belgium to visit my family this summer since my time has been dedicated to finding work, (though they did come for my graduation, which was really nice). I had a pretty good summer. I spent the majority of it with my family in Belgium. I was so happy to see my dog and my sister again; I miss them a lot during the year. I had a lot of free time at my parents' place so I after I got current on the Gintama manga and since I didn't have any of my newer Basara games with me to play, I decided that I needed something else to fill the Samurai-shaped void in my life so I decided to check out Rurouni Kenshin. Oh wow, my last journal was back in October. Setsucon came and went again. Things went pretty smoothly in my department this year (could've been worse anyways), but I'm stepping down from my position since I'll be doing my student teaching that time next year so I'll be much to busy. I'll still try to go as an attendee though if I'm free that weekend. I finally sat down and started Gintama in January. I'd been telling myself forever that I'd watch it eventually and even tried starting the first episode at some point, but the length of the series was really intimidating.
