I'm still around for now. I managed to crawl my way through the worst semester ever this year and celebrated with burritos and margaritas.
Super busy with two separate moves this summer. My family is moving in a couple of weeks so I've been having to go through my stuff here at my parents' house in Rome to get ready for everything to go back into boxes again. Then, when I fly to the states at the end of next month, I'll be getting ready to move into an apartment together with Becca. We've already been looking at cats, haha.
I got to hang out with Céline earlier this summer when she came to visit here in Rome and that was really fantastic.

It's been too hot and too rainy to do much of anything lately though. We're planning to visit Venice before we move though.
My Life
Wow, my last journal was at the start of my senior year. A whole lot has happened since then.
I survived my last year, which had me busier and more stressed than I think I have ever been before in my life. I graduated and got my degree in education along with my teaching certification. Unfortunately, I was not able to go to Belgium to visit my family this summer since my time has been dedicated to finding work, (though they did come for my graduation, which was really nice). I interviewed with several school districts in the US, and even got multiple offers. In the end, I decided to teach in Korea first and accepted a position there beginnin
Summer is almost over
I had a pretty good summer. I spent the majority of it with my family in Belgium. I was so happy to see my dog and my sister again; I miss them a lot during the year.
I had a lot of free time at my parents' place so I after I got current on the Gintama manga and since I didn't have any of my newer Basara games with me to play, I decided that I needed something else to fill the Samurai-shaped void in my life so I decided to check out Rurouni Kenshin. Previously I'd only ever seen the live-action movie on a plane and it didn't make much sense to me, but I ended up loving the anime and I re-watched the movie now that I'm familiar with the sourc
2015!
Oh wow, my last journal was back in October.
Setsucon came and went again. Things went pretty smoothly in my department this year (could've been worse anyways), but I'm stepping down from my position since I'll be doing my student teaching that time next year so I'll be much to busy. I'll still try to go as an attendee though if I'm free that weekend.
I finally sat down and started Gintama in January. I'd been telling myself forever that I'd watch it eventually and even tried starting the first episode at some point, but the length of the series was really intimidating. Well, I finally started it and finished the entire anime (just in time
Busy little bee
I went to Otakon again this past summer and I had an amazing time this year! I went with some of my super cool friends and we had fun goofing off all weekend like the giant weeblords we are.
This semester has been super busy for me so far. I feel like I've got tons of work to do each week, but it's still manageable; I just haven't had very much time for other things. I've gotten all these new video games recently and haven't had much time to even play them. >w<
I'll be going to Katsucon again in 2015. I'm really excited this year because my sister, our friends, and I have some cosplay groups planned. I've been working on a Sailor Moon
